Why a kennel owner ended up counting what AI says
I own Green Acres K-9 Resort — boarding and daycare, eighteen acres, going on nineteen years — along with Nextgen Goldens and a Cavalier program. That is the day job, and it is the reason any of this exists.
In September 2026 I asked ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity the five questions a buyer actually types, across twelve states. 180 answers, every one kept word for word, 5,076 sources logged. Then I ran my own two programs through the same questions, which is the part I would rather not have found out.
My own written work is quoted as a source fifteen times across six answers — in Oregon, California and Ohio. My health-testing write-ups are being read to buyers two thousand miles away. And my kennel is named as a program in three answers, all of them Oregon.
So the writing travels and the business does not. I did not enjoy learning that, and it is the most useful thing in the whole file — because it is not a problem you can buy your way out of, and it is not the problem most people think they have.

Who I work with
- Dog breeders running a serious, health-testing program that almost nobody can find online. I work with a small number at a time, one litter at a time. What that looks like →
- Owner-operated companies whose owner is being sold AI by people who have never run anything. Same problem, different industry: the machines are answering questions about you and nobody has checked what they say.
How I work
- Every deliverable is done by me. There is no team, no junior, and no white-labelled contractor. That is also the limit — I can only take on so much at once, and I would rather say so than overbook.
- Nothing is bought, spun or faked. No purchased links, no generated filler, nothing that would embarrass you if a client asked how it was done.
- Everything is measured before and after, across three AI assistants rather than one. A single engine will tell you a program is invisible when two others are naming it — I know because my own tooling made exactly that mistake and I had to go back and fix it.
What I will and will not claim
One client ranks #1 on Google for their core local term — North Star Tutoring, for “dyslexia tutor Gresham.” You can search it. That is the only ranking claim on this site, because it is the only one I can point at.
Everything else here is described as method and process. There are no testimonials on this site, because I do not yet have ones I could stand behind, and inventing them is exactly the behaviour that makes this industry hard to trust. As real results accrue I will add them, dated and checkable.
I do not guarantee a ranking, a citation, a mention by any AI system, or a sale. Nobody honestly can — these are third-party systems that change without notice. What I offer instead is a refund term written into the agreement, in plain words, which you can read before you pay anything.
