Price

Founding rate: $297 a month, about $10 a day. Includes 400 call minutes a month; $0.40 a minute after that. No setup fee for the first ten Portland-area shops. The rate goes up for new clients once the first ten are in.

14-day free trial, no card. I set it up on a new number, you forward your calls to it when you want to (after hours first, if you like), and you hear every call. At day 14 you decide. If you keep it, billing starts then. If not, I switch it off and you owe nothing.

The guarantee. If it does not catch at least one job in a month, that month is free.

Cancel any time. No contract. Your Stripe receipt has a link to cancel; the month you paid for runs to its end.

Honest terms: I do not promise a number of booked jobs. I promise that every call gets answered, every call gets written down, and anything that is not what we agreed gets fixed or refunded.

Questions trades ask me

Will customers hang up on a robot?

Some will, the same way some hang up on voicemail. The difference is that the ones who stay get booked instead of calling the next company. You hear the recordings, so you will know within a week.

What if it gets something wrong?

Every call is recorded and summarized. In the first two weeks I listen to the calls and fix the script the same day. After that, text me and it is fixed within one business day.

Do I have to change my phone number?

No. You keep your number and forward calls to the receptionist: all calls, after-hours only, or only when you do not pick up. Most trades start with after-hours.
